Using electronic distance measurement with total stations, marks are delivered in 10 seconds or less from the moment the mark is made. Compared with traditional fiberglass tape measuring, this dramatically improves efficiency in the throws while also keeping long jump and triple jump moving smoothly.

A purpose-built digital measuring rail for the horizontal jumps - Long Jump and Triple Jump. SmartRail replaces the tape and the guesswork with a fully digital reading, delivered the instant the measurement is taken.

Magnetic Linear Encoder Technology

SmartRail runs alongside the runway and pit, using a magnetic linear encoder to track position with sub-centimeter precision as the measuring tape is drawn out. The moment the tape is set at the mark, the distance is captured digitally and sent straight into FieldSync - no one has to read a tape by eye, call it out, or key it in by hand.
